There are two major ways to provide donations to the Student Hunger Drive: Donating food and donating funds.
*Non-Perishable food donations can be dropped off at participating High Schools and the River Bend Foodbank now through November 10th, 2016.
Schools are asked to collect and donate a variety of food products. The food that is the most needed is canned vegetables, canned fruits, tuna, canned meats, cereals soups and stews. When donating, students are encouraged to answer the question, "what would I like to eat tonight?" Please consider QUALITY NUTRITIOUS FOOD.
Each school is limited to 1,000 lbs flour and sugar combined. The Foodbank will not accept soda, or any "sugar water" (non-100% fruit juice), bulk items, perishable items, clothing or personal hygiene products in connection with the Student Hunger Drive.Community members are encouraged to donate food or funds at their favorite area high school.
